★ Additional Info: Akeela has the cat that was used to alter her DNA. She also made a stuffed anmal that looks like the cat. She also has memory issues. Her human ears don't really work anymore, when her other ears grew they became her only source of hearing and her other ears stopped working.

Carefree/Sensitive| Akeela often does not do what everyone else does. She prefers to do what she wants, when she wants to, and how she prefers to do it. This can sometimes lead her into trouble, and is one of the reasons she can fight pretty well. Even though she does what she wants, she can be pretty sensitive and easily hurt. If someone fusses at her for being too hyper or for doing something they think she shouldn't do, then she will fall silent and just do what is asked of her for quite a while.
Honest/Blunt| Akeela hates lying. She tries to tell the truth whenever possible, even if it's just telling her friend that she broke their toy or something along those lines. This can back-fire on her sometimes though, because she will tell someone something a bit too bluntly, then ending up accidentally hurting someone's feelings. Of course, she does lie on occasion, because everyone will lie, and when she does she is actually pretty good at it.
Loyal| She believes that this is the second most important thing about a friendship, being Loyal. She is one of the most loyal Pokemon/People you will ever meet. Once you are her friend she will love you and support you when you're right and never leave your side unless you disappear and never let her see you again.
Gullible| She is a bit too trustworthy... this can get her into trouble too. She doesn't pick up on lies or false truths very quickly. She tends to try and trust a person when she meets them. She believes what they say until she is proven wrong, or thinks about what they said a bit longer, figuring it out. If someone came up to her saying that they just had their liver removed and need money because they don't have any, she will give that person some money.
Quick-Tempered| Under her soft exterior Akeela is also very Quick-Tempered. You say something bad about her, one of her friends, or something she strongly believes in and you'll be in for some quick corrections. This is one reason she gets into many fights, because she ticks the other person off or the other person makes her too upset. She tries to control her temperament, but usually fails to do so.
Stubborn| When she has her mind set, it is pretty much set in stone. She hates being told she's wrong, and when she does she tends to get in trouble. After she is proven right she will quietly admit she was wrong, but if you ask her to say it louder or again she will simply glare at you in annoyance, refusing to.
Clumsy| She doesn't have the best balance in the world, nor is se the most graceful. Akeela has a bad tendency of falling down, bumping into things/people, knocking things over, and tripping over her own two. She can be balanced in fighting but when it comes to everyday things she just doesn't pay close enough attention to what she is doing.
Optimistic| Pessimists beware!! If you're a Pessimist and you are friends with Akeela, then she will do everything in her power to brighten your day and help you to see the good things in life. If her day is going bad she still keeps smiling, thinking about the good things in life, doing things to make herself and others laugh, and just loving life. She hates seeing her friends and family sad, and always tries to help them see the light of smiling. Her favorite thing to tell people is, "Smile!! It's good for your health!".
Fighter| Akeela LOVES to fight. She relishes in the challenge and thrill of fighting. She doesn't start the fights herself, unless she's in a horrible mood, which is rare for her, but she sure as heck will finish them. If she thinks that she's going to lose in a fight against a human she tends to flee or admit defeat, but if she knows she will win for sure then she doesn't back down and fights until she's pinned down her opponent.
Bold/Daring| She is quite a daring and bold young woman. She climbs trees as high as she can, climbs mountains, explores caves, swims in rivers, creeks and lakes, stands/sits on the edge of high up things, jumps down from high places, you name it and she will probably do it. Her favorite game to play is Truth or Dare, and she always picks dare. The only thing she won't do is is kiss someone for a dare or get down and dirty for a dare.
Hyper/Playful| She can talk really fast, tell you a bunch of different things, run around like crazy, annoy you to death and back again, but then be the sweetest person you know. She tends to get hyper and overly excited around her close personal friends, and people she feels will become friends. She enjoys stealing her friend's hats so that they will chase her, or letting her friends steal something of hers so that she can chase them around to try and retrieve the item. When she is Hyper it usually means she's about ready to fall asleep, or is getting some pent up energy out.
Comedic| Akeela is always trying to make people laugh, smile, and overall have a good time. She loves to hear people of all ages laugh and have fun. She makes funny sounds, expressions, does odd and amusing things, pretty much anything to put a smile on someone's face.

★ History:
Akeela grew up as a normal child, no tail, no ears, but she was always fascinated with cats. When she was ten she went out into the woods to explore like she often did. This time, however, she went farther then she usually did and got lost. She wandered onto private property, where she got in huge trouble. She came to the building, and was just too thrilled to see a house that she ran over to it to get help. She got there and was greeted by an elderly man. She explained her situation to him and he happily let her in. He brought her into the house and as she began to explore while the man 'called' her parents. He'd said it was alright so she did what she wanted. She ended up finding a sandy colored cat in a cage. It was curled up, unhappy, and it was a sad site for Akeela. She asked the man that had helped her about the cat. The man said that she was a very special cat, but she always ended up running away when he let her out. Akeela nodded in understanding and asked the man if she could let the cat out. The man agreed, but on one condition; her parents had told the man that if she wanted, she could stay there to help him out around his home as payment for saving her. Akeela took him up on his offer after a moments thought.
Over the next couple of months Akeela and the cat, whom she had named Desert, grew close to each other and ended up bonding with each other. This had been exactly what the man that had 'rescued' them had been hoping for. One day while Akeela was asleep in her room with Desert the man gave her a sedative and took her to his basement. He extracted DNA from Desert and inserted it into Akeela's DNA. After several moments of severe pain Akeela had the tail and ears of the cat she had grown close to. The man, satisfied by this decided to take Akeela and Desert to his band of Scientist friends to prove them that his experimenting was correct and provable. Akeela woke up in her room later that day, and freaked out when she saw what had happened. When the man came to get her he was a completely different person. He was cold and bossy, and this did not sit well with Akeela. When she demanded to know what was going on he told her exactly what happened. He had kidnapped her and told her parents that she was dead. Akeela panicked when she heard this news, and ran away from the man. The man didn't expect this, so Akeela ran away, followed by her cat Desert.
When she got to the nearby town she realized she had no idea where she was or how to et in contact with her parents, or where she used to leave... it was all a blur. The man had given her a potion to make her past where she couldn't remember great details about it. This ended up effecting Akeela's long term memory,sometimes she'd forget small details like dates and times, people's names, what she did earlier the day, etc. Akeela ended up fleeing to a completely different state to get as far away from the man as she could. She used hats and headbands to hide her ears, and long jackets or baggy shirts to hide her tail. Akeela decided it was finally safe enough to go back to school so she joined Make A Scene, but she still fears the man one day finding her.
